Box Springs - Level 3
Box Springs is a short backcountry route in Wasatch County, Utah, on the high ground east of the Wasatch Front. It follows a forest road through the timber and open parks of the Uinta Mountains foothills area.
The route is a quick side trip that fits well into a longer day of exploring the Wasatch County backcountry.

Rated Moderate (level 3), best suited to a high clearance 4x4. Expect stock vehicles with good ground clearance, 4WD and off-road tires to manage it. Typical challenges include rocky or uneven surface, ruts, loose rock, and ledges, drops or short steep climbs under 12 inches. Water crossings should be less than a foot deep, and mud holes are possible. The road is generally one vehicle wide with places to pass. The driver reports ruts or mud as the reason for the rating, so watch for those along the way.
