West Side Strawberry - Level 2
West Side Strawberry runs along the western side of Strawberry Reservoir country in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest of northern Utah. The route follows forest roads through aspen groves, sagebrush openings and conifer stands, with views across the high plateau.
The trail is a quiet way to see backcountry on the Wasatch County side of the reservoir. It suits a relaxed day drive with stops for photos and picnics.

Level 2 is Easy and typically suits a high clearance 2WD vehicle. Stock equipment is enough, though the road can test tire traction and ground clearance. Expect dirt and rocky sections with dips, ruts or small rocks under about 9 inches, and possibly shallow water or small ledges under 12 inches. The road is usually one to two vehicles wide and is typically unmaintained after rain or snow. The driver's log does not call out any specific obstacles.
